Thermal spray and diffusion coatings present unique sample preparation and evaluation issues. For that reason, IMR has developed a comprehensive training pogram titled "Aerospace Metallography and Coating Evaluation". This program, developed jointly with and endorsed by Pratt & Whitney, is offered at IMR throughout the year.
